Ingredients
Serves: 2, Time: 30mins
3 cups water
5 whole cloves
10 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
1 tsp ground ginger
2 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
½ vanilla bean, split lengthwise and scraped
⅓ cup honey
1½ cups NutriSoy High Calcium Fresh Soya Milk
4 black tea bags
Preparation
- Heat up a small saucepan of water
- In a mortar, crush the cloves, cardamom pods and cinnamon sticks
- Transfer the crushed spices into the saucepan
- Add ginger and vanilla bean scrapings into the saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat
- Drop in the black tea bags and whisk in honey
- Let the tea simmer for about 15 minutes on low heat, until mixture is aromatic
- Add in soya milk and mix everything together
- Sieve out the chai tea into your serving pot!
