Ingredients
Apple Mixture
6 medium size green apples (Cut Into 2cm to 3cm Chunks)
100g of sugar
½ tsp of ground cinnamon
80g chopped pecans
Batter Mixture
130g F&N Full Cream Evaporated Milk
125g plain flour
200g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 large egg
80g unsalted butter
40g chopped pecans
Preparation
- Pre-heat oven to 165°c
- Grease the baking tray with butter
- Cut the Apples into 2cm-3cm Chunks
- 4.Placed the apples chunks in a mixing bowl and mixed in the sugar, cinnamon and 80g of the chopped pecans
- 5.Placed apple chunks mixture into the baking tray making sure its evenly spread out.
- In another medium size mixing bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, egg, F&N Full Cream Evaporated Milk and butter
- Once mixture is well mixed and smooth pour the mixture on top of the apples and scatter the 40g of chopped pecans on the top
- Bake in a 165°c oven for about 50mins, continue at 5 mins intervals if undercooked.
- Let it cool for 30 mins at room temperature
- Portion out into small bowls and serve with a scoop of F&N Magnolia Vanilla Ice cream
